- Soak dry green peas overnight and in the morning cook in a pressure cooker with a little salt. Take care not to overcook it.
- Prepare tamarind pulp and heat it to a boil along with jaggery, red chilli powder and salt to prepare meetha.

- In a mixie, grind to a fine paste pudina, green chillies, jeera and pepper. To this pulp add sufficient water and sieve to get pani. Then add tamarind pulp and jaggery soaked in water and salt to taste.
- Puris can be prepared at home by using chiroti rava and urad dal flour but it is a better option to get the ready made puris from the market.
- Serve the puris filled with cooked peas, meetha, chopped onion and sev puri along with pani.
