Ingredients :
Telu avalakki 4 cups
Groundnut oil 1/2 cup
Groundnut seeds 1 cup
Hurigadale 1/2 cup
Curry leaves 10-15
Uppu menasinakai 5-10
Grated dry coconut 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
Menthe hittu 2 teaspoon
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds, Jeera, Hing, Turmeric powder,Asafoetida for tadka.
Salt to taste.

Preparation :
In a thick bottomed kadai, heat groundnut oil.
- Then add sasive, jeerige, hing powder and turmeric powder.
- Once they stop sputtering, add groundnut and fry till golden colour.
- Then add hurigadale, curry leaves, uppu menasinakai, and mix thoroughly turn off the heat.
- Wait till it comes to normal temperature.
- Then add avalakki, sugar, salt, red chilli powder, menthe hittu and mix well.
- Put the kadai back on fire and fry just for few minutes till it gets warm. ( This needs to be done to get crispy chooda ).
- Shift to a tight lid box only after half an hour.
