Besan laddu
Ingredients :

Kadale hittu ( besan )     2 cups

Pure ghee                      1 + cups ( if you wish to have bean laddoos very soft,increase the quantity of ghee)
Powdered sugar              1 1/4 cups
Cardamom powder          1 teaspoon
Cashew nuts                   20
Raisins                           20

Preparation :

  • In a pan heat cashews in a little ghee and set aside.
  • In a thick bottomed kadai mix ghee and besan and on a medium flame, keep stirring continuously. 
  • Take care to see that it is not burnt. 
  • It will take quite some time to turn golden colour and lose its raw smell. 
  • Then turn of the heat and keep stirring further till the heat completely subsides or transfer it to some other vessel.
  • Once the mix is TOTALLY cool, add fried cashews, raisins, elaichi powder and sugar. ( Add sugar according to your taste. ) 
  • Knead thoroughly and roll into laddoos. ( It can be used without refrigeration for over a month )
