Let us assume that you prepare a dish which is very tasty and delicious. Will you be happy if the dish turns out very delicious but there is nobody to taste and appreciate it?
Or you have a cute little child, whom you have trained to perform in some art form, don't you want to share your pleasure with the world?

How to write a blog post ?

Effective Communication :

Now that you have learnt how to create a blog, let us move on and learn how to write a blog post, which is very effective, popular and which draws the readers to your site.
The fundamental principle of any effective writing is to write on something on which you have a good authority and about a subject which you know and are passionate about. The thoughts come across from your heart and so reach your readers.
Before you set out to write a post make a blueprint of the post - either in your mind or on a paper. Be clear in what you are going to tell your readers. Once you have set the linage and the thought of your post, the words will flow fluently and effectively.

How to create a Blog?

                                                      WHAT IS A BLOG ?
I have been blogging now for almost 5 to 6 years and whenever I have Googled for any help, I have noticed that almost all the guidelines and help are generally for those who are very well versed with the subject or who know the coding part.

I remember my earlier days when I had a vague idea of what a blog is, but never knew how to create one and/or its intricacies or the nuances. I was hesitant to ask, was shy to query. Even now there may be many like me who want to learn but are hesitant to ask. So in these series of posts, I would like to teach the basic elements of blogging.

Maha Kumbha Mela - The Cultural extravaganza of India

chitrannaa.blogspot.com
The images of Indian cultural extravaganza, The Maha Kumbha Mela are flashing across the media - both print   and visual, all over the world. There are images of sadhus, tents, temples, lamps and of course foreign visitors. But I am afraid  instead of highlighting the essence and the cultural value of the mega event, the focus is more on getting the snaps of the nude sadhus or sadhus smearing ash on their bodies or wearing odd costumes, lengthy hairs or nails. Besides the  ash smeared ascetics, wide-eyed stars and tourists and millions of pilgrims thronging the Ganges for a holy dip, there are a lot more interesting facts and intricacies involved in this mystique event.

WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF KUMBH MELA?

I consider myself very fortunate that I am born in India, a country which hosts one of the famous Seven Wonders of the World - TAJ MAHAL. And given a chance I would like to have a dinner date with the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan  You may want to know why...But first things first.

Finish the Sentence Friday Blog Hop #24

“The hardest part of my day is…”

This post is to participate in "Finish the Sentence Friday Blog Hop #24"

GOOD Morning....
chitrannaa.blogspot.in

What do you think? Will it be getting up early morning and losing that sweet lingering sleep?

When the golden sun will be blessing us with rays filled with life and energy, when the birds start chirping in their melodious voice and when the sweet flowers start spreading their vibrant fragrance and when yoga and kapalbhati are beckoning who wants to sleep?

GOOD afternoon...

Preparing the food according to the different tastes and fancy of every one in the home?

Common... Not everyone is blessed by Goddess Annapoorneshwari to be able to enjoy cooking and serving. Cooking is the most creative art and can never bore me....

Going to office and working from 9 to 5? Lord Krishna has told " Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma phaleshu kadachana " meaning " You do your duties sincerely and leave the rest to me.I will take care." And so is the motto of my great organisation - Life Insurance Corporation of India - which declares " Yogakshemam Vahamyaham " which again means " Your care is my concern. So I am blessed with this job and it is the most fulfilling part of my day...

GOOD evening...
Coming back home to the demanding and expecting children and the pet dog Pogo? On the contrary...
In the company of my most understanding family and my favorite Pogo, the time just flies and as for  fulfilling their demands, as they say "change of work is relaxation."

And the dinner? The most anticipated and awaited moment when you have taught your children how to cook...

GOOD night....

Can't sleep early? Is that a problem? My dear, it is said that " sleeping is death by slices." So be happy that you are awake because there is very little difference between sleep and death.

GOOD life...

Problems are only in our thinking and our minds.Just look around. Humans are the most blessed of God's creations. Every moment is precious, every hardship is a lesson and every experience is a learning. So nourish and cherish this wonderful LIFE!!!

kea.kar.nic.in - Karnataka CET Results

CET RESULTS :

The results will be out today by 5.30 PM. The results will be available in the official website of Karnataka CET cell at the link  www.kea.kar.nic.in

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had conducted the CET for this year from May 1 st to May 10 in which nearly 1,75,000 candidates appeared from across the country.

Another web site where you can view the declared CET results is at www.cet.kar.nic.in .for results you can also call the numbers :    080 - 23568201,23568202,23462599,23462758,23461575,23564583. Fax : 080 - 23461576.

For those of you who are eager to know the results of your classmates, relatives and friends, but whose register number is not available, you may log on to www.indiaresults.com where by just matching the name and the father's name, you can verify the results and marks.

TOP ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN KARNATAKA :

The top three Engineering colleges in Karnataka are RV College, PES College and BMS Engineering College. The teaching, faculty, Placement and extra curricular activities in these three colleges make the students to throng to them. But there is no need to worry for those less fortunate. Don't worry that you are missing these colleges by narrow margin. There is always casual round and if you are willing to pay extra fees, you can opt for comedK seats.

TOP BRANCHES IN ENGINEERING :http://www.kar.nic.in/kea/

The most coveted branch in Engineering with top ranked students opting for these courses in Electronics followed by Computer Science and Information Science. But a little known secret here. As a knowledge gaining branch Electronics may be coveted but the job opportunities are available aplenty in CS and IS branches. Of course one can learn computers and programming of-campus too but then there would be a gap between what they have learnt and on what they would be working in future. It is also a well known fact that the companies would prefer Computer Science and Information Science students and they would be recruited on first priority. So the choice is entirely yours.

DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

Absolutely. There is room for everyone. The number of seats in Engineering Colleges in Karnataka exceeds the number of students and there is a sure chance of getting a seat. And unlike school and PUC, the students are expected to study by themselves and not depend on the lectures in the college. Further there are wonderful online computer classes like www.newbotson.com where there are classes on every program. So cheer up.All the very best. Godspeed.
