• Soak 1 cup chiroti rava in ½ cup curd for 30 minutes.

• After soaking, add 2 cups besan or sattu.

• Add water gradually to get the right batter consistency.

• In a vegetable chopper, finely chop baby corn, onion, and capsicum.

• Grate 100 gm paneer.


• In a kadai, prepare tadka using:

  • Hing (asafoetida)

  • Haldi (turmeric)

  • Mustard seeds

  • Chopped green chillies

  • Methi (fenugreek seeds)

  • Coriander leaves

  • Curry leaves

• Add the chopped vegetables and grated paneer to the tadka.

• Sauté the mixture for 5 minutes.

• Add the sautéed veggie-paneer mix to the rava-sattu batter.

• Add:

  • A pinch of soda

  • Salt to taste

• Make appe using extra virgin olive oil.

• Tastes amazing and can be enjoyed guilt-free 😋

We can use many other vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, Dil leaves etc
